Bratislava, Slovakia – The International Society for Arts and Culture, o.z. (ISAC), with support from the Visegrad Fund, is excited to unveil “V4 Improv Connect.” This groundbreaking initiative aims to elevate the art of improvisational theater across Europe. From April 9th to 14th, 2024, Funnylicious Theater in Bratislava will host a remarkable gathering of improv talent from the Visegrád countries and beyond.

Uniting for a Cause

“V4 Improv Connect” centers around a 6-day retreat from April 9-14, 2024, providing a comprehensive platform for theater/ improv actors, trainers, and leaders to enhance their skills, share knowledge, and build lasting partnerships. The program includes a main stage performance on April 13th and nightly showcases, each promising an evening filled with the spontaneity and brilliance of improv, featuring artists from Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.

Highlight Events

Nightly Shows at Funnylicious Theater (April 9-12): Free admission to a diverse range of improv shows starting at 20:00. Advance reservations recommended.

Main Stage Show – The Big Show (April 13, 19:30 at Teatro Colorato): A unique, fully improvised performance by an international ensemble. Free admission, limited seating.
Public Workshop with Keith Farquhar (April 11, 18:30-21:30): Improve your acting skills in a Meisner Acting workshop with the esteemed Keith Farquhar.

Tickets and Language
All events, including nightly showcases and the main stage show, are free.

The public workshop costs €40 (online)/ €45 (at the door). All performances and workshops will be conducted in English, ensuring accessibility for a broad audience.
