The People Behind Funnylicious

Hon Chong
Founder, Artistic Director, and Head Instructor
Meet Hon, a multifaceted artist with skills spanning improvisation, acting, directing, teaching, and storytelling. Over the past 16 years, he has built an international portfolio, working in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Hon’s passion for acting and theater began at an early age. As a child, he would create and act out improvised scenes and characters, entertaining himself and developing his budding skills. Today, Hon utilizes his extensive acting and improv training to coach and train a wide spectrum of clients and companies in various contexts, including films and TV productions, corporate events/workshops, and schools.
In Slovakia, Hon founded the International Society for Arts and Culture, o.z. (ISAC), a grassroots non-profit based in Bratislava, and created Funnylicious Theater, a multicultural performance and training space. He also leads V4 Improv Connectâan international improv theatre project launched in 2023 and now in its second editionâsupported by the International Visegrad Fund. The project brings together theatres and artists from six countries, creates collaborative productions, and tours across six cities, while connecting to international festivals and events to help elevate improvisation as an art form on par with scripted theatre.
Hon brings his calm energy, creativity, and passion to every project, whether coaching performers or leading workshops. We are grateful for his dedication to the art of improvisation and his unwavering commitment to creating a better world through the power of improv.

Georgi Todorov
Facilitator and Cast Member
Georgi fell in love with improv when he took his first class with Funnylicious over two years ago. He originally joined to sharpen his English, quick thinking, and presentation skillsâand to feel more confident in front of people. He didnât expect much⊠until he instantly fell in love with it. Since then, he has joined the cast, performed in shows, and even begun facilitating Funnyliciousâs Thursday Open Improv TrĂ©ning sessions in Slovak.
What Georgi loves most about improv is how it teaches you to stay on your feetâliterally and mentally. It trains you to respond fast, express emotions freely, and trust your instincts. And it might be the only place where mistakes arenât just acceptedâtheyâre celebrated (and laughed at immediately).
For Georgi, improv brings freedom, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Being part of the warm, welcoming Funnylicious community is a big reason he keeps showing up, keeps playing, and keeps growing.

Igor PrieloĆŸnĂœ
Facilitator and Cast Member
Igor is an internationally trained actor and director with a passion for performance that took shape in the United States, where he studied acting and gained early on-set experience in Los Angeles. Born in Slovakia, raised in Germany, and educated in the U.S., he brings a distinctly multicultural perspective to his work. Now based in Bratislava, he works across Europe in both English and German.
Before returning to Europe, Igor made his first feature film in Hollywoodâan important milestone that deepened his understanding of storytelling from both sides of the camera. As a current cast and facilitator of Funnylicious Theater, he continues to sharpen his improvisation, physical comedy, directing, teaching, and character work. This ongoing stage practice keeps him agile, adaptable, and ready for the fast pace of productions in commercials, film, and television.
Standing 193 cm tall and known for his disciplined, humorous, and diplomatic presence, Igor brings creative energy, professionalism, and a filmmakerâs eye to every project.

Nina VlhovĂĄ

Nina is a dramaturg, translator, and artist working at the intersection of theatre, language, and improv comedy. Shaped by her Slovak rootsâalongside studies and artistic residencies across Europeâshe approaches storytelling with a refined sensitivity to narrative, character, and cultural nuance.
She holds a masterâs degree in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Writing from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where she explored clown archetypes, as well as a second masterâs degree in Translation and Interpreting from Comenius University, with a focus on English, American, and German culture and literature. Nina is also deeply interested in the enduring role of theatre in individual and community life, exploring it through anthropological and spiritual lenses.
At Funnylicious Theater, Nina teaches improv with a unique blend of wit, literary awareness, and dramaturgical precision, helping students cultivate spontaneity while staying grounded in clear storytelling. She is also a trained yoga instructorâan influence that supports her presence, responsiveness, and attunement to the physical and emotional dynamics in the room.
Known for her clarity, intuitive sensitivity, and comedic instinct, Nina brings depth and emotional intelligence to every sessionâcreating rich, playful, and engaging experiences for her students.

Vasylina Koval
Facilitator
Vasylina is a Ukrainian playback theatre performer who has found her new homeâand her stageâat Funnylicious.
She has been connected to improvisational theatre for over eight years and is also the director of a Ukrainian Playback Theatre group in Bratislava called Krok. Through improv, she has learned to adapt quickly to change and to meet uncertainty with openness and courage.
For Vasylina, life is much like improv: there is no ready-made script, and everything can shift in an instant. Instead of seeing the unknown as a threat, she treats it as an invitation to play.
At Funnylicious, she facilitates the Slovak Open Improv TrĂ©ning and invites you to play togetherâadding a series of brilliant improvisations to your life.
